Ghazali: The Book of Remembrance (Dhikr) (G1/A1)

Shaykh Babikir will cover the chapter on Remembrance (Dhikr) in Ghazali’s ‘The Forty Principles of the Religion’ (al-Arbaʿīn fī Uṣūl al-Dīn). This book is a summary of perhaps his most famous work, the Ihya Ulum al-Din.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The chapter on Remembrance (Dhikr) is located in the second quarter of ‘The Forty Principles of the Religion’.

Shaykh Babikir will discuss the Qur’an and Hadith traditions Imam Ghazali presents in this chapter and how these can become a means of purifying our hearts.
