CRAWLEY CLASSES

LANGLEY GREEN COMMUNITY CENTRE

The monthly Crawley Classes are a local free community programme. It brings together teachers from all over the UK to teach a classical text in Hadith, Tafsir, Fiqh, Aqidah, or Prophetic Sciences.

Since 2005, we have completed many traditional texts. Click on past for full details.

Due to the pandemic, this programme has been hold since March 2020. We hope to restart the sessions and complete the hadith course in the academic year 2022-23.

ACCESSIBLE

The Crawley Classes are a free evening programme that is open to all members of the community.

TEACHERS

We have been privileged to have many respected teachers from all over the UK teaching on this programme. See the teaching schedule for dates and topics.

FREQUENCY

The Crawley Classes are held monthly on a Thursday evening, 8.00 to 10.00 pm. The timing and format of the classes make them particularly suitable for the local community, and for those who are looking to attain Islamic knowledge but are not able to travel far. REFRESHMENTS

At the end of each class, we provide free refreshments and an opportunity for questions and discussions. It is hoped that the format of these classes promotes an atmosphere conducive for learning and mutual co-operation within the local community.

YA-SIN READING

We finish each class with a communal reading of Sura Ya-Sin, remembering loved ones in our prayers, those present and those departed.
